Full highlight means highlights added throughout the whole head Half head highlight means highlights added in the upper portion of the head and on the sides Mohawk highlight means minimal highlights just on the top of the head and only a couple on the sides Balayage means hand painting the hair

Root color means coloring the new growth only. All over color means coloring the hair from roots to ends.
